Murder 2 simply rocks!!

The Bhatts’ new production Murder 2 is giving awesome collections at the box office despite mixed reviews and the monotonous slag of being hackneyed. The movie marked good business in its opening weekend. It took off on Friday very nicely on a positive note with a collection of approximately Rupees 7 crores. The Saturday was uniformly good although there was a slender wash to Rupees 6.5 crores.

But shockingly on Sunday the number just got doubled up to Rupees. 8.75 crores. Summarizing it up, the weekend collection of “Murder 2” starring Emraan Hashmi and Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead is more than Rupees 22 crores, which is second best to Salman Khan’s starrer Ready.The Bhatts are apparently having the last express amusement in spite of all the criticism the movie got for being a copy of the Korean project titled ‘The Chaser’.

In assessment, Salman Khan’s first production Chillar Party grossed just average collections. The flick had a lethargic beginning on Friday with a worthless collection of Rupees. 45 lakh. Two major releases of 2011

This Friday’s two fresh releases are the Emraan Hashmi starrer Murder 2 and the children’s movie Chillar Party Though there are names such as Salman and Ranbir Kapoor who are collaborated with CHILLAR PARTY. as things stand today it will be MURDER 2 that will get the better start. However, due to the low milage and not so famous music as compared to recent Bhatt ventures MURDER 2 is likely to lose out to the still powerful Delhi Belly, particularly at the multiplexes. Once again the new releases of last Friday went the expected way.

Due to the popularity of D.K. Bose and Aamir Khan‘s innovative publicity Delhi Belly was frequent by the metropolitan multiplexes and the weekend saw the film grossing a better 21.50 crore. The other release Puri Jagannadh’s BBUDDAH…HOGA TERRA BAAP saw a dull beginning but a positive growth saw the 20-21 crore film netting a below par 6.50 crore during the opening weekend. In the Overseas too it was once again DELHI BELLY which won the race grossing Rs 154,000 from UK and 582,000 dollars from US,

as opposed to 43,000 dollar. Delhi Belly turns superhit, while BHTB earns profit

While actor Aamir Khan‘s ‘Delhi Belly‘ starring Imran Khan has opened to worthy figures, ‘Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap‘ began slow but pushed up over the weekend. After last week’s solo release Double Dhamaal that featured Sanjay Dutt and Kangana Ranaut opened to good figures, the two releases of this week Delhi Belly and Bbuddah Hoga Tera Baap are keeping the ticket windows studded with people.

The whole appreciation goes to the massive publicity surrounding the film, Delhi Bellycollected a whopping currency of 26.4 crore over the opening weekend. The day wise break-up is Friday with rupees 7.15 crore, Saturday with a hype of 8.50 crore and Sunday with a collection of Rs 10.75 crores. The budget of Delhi Belly is Rs 24 crores overall which means the movie has already healthier its speculations.

Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap starring Amitabh Bachchan had a slow beginning on Friday but picked up over the weekend with major benefaction from family viewers and Amitabh Bachchan followers. The opening weekend collection was noted around Rs 7.5 crores. Made in a controlled financial statement of approximately Rs. 10 crores, the flick has already improved money through non-theatrical possibility.The coming week witness two very assorted genre releases. Even though Amitabh Bachchan have faith that his recent release Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap was better then Imran Khan’s Delhi Belly, the box office figures say something of different results. In his latest blog Big B went crazy over Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, but his dream of doing better than Delhi Belly appears to have cisterned. Delhi Belly attracts audiences

Bollywood star Imran Khan had a mega debut in Jaane Tu..Ya Jaane Na but after that most of his movies such as Kidnap in which audiences found themselves sleeping in multiplexes, than came Luck that proved to be unlucky and “I hate Love stories” audiences too hated the film and these failed badly at the box office.

Bheja Fry 2 fails to create magic

Beja Fry 2, the sequel to 2007′s big hit by the same name is a laboring effort at taking the madcap protagonist’s story forward. Vinay Pathak in the role of Bharat Bhushan reprises the character of a middle-aged simpleton idiot, mostly a screwball, who ends up doing well. His intentions often unclear, his actions are misleading. Four years later, Mr. Bhushan is back to irritate the bad guys and spread his good humoured innocence around. And though it is at least half an hour too long, it still works.

Bharat Bhushan (Vinay Pathak) is the an old dim-witted income-tax officer with a clean conscience who wins a television game show. Ajit Talwar (Kay Kay Menon), is a rich businessman whom Kapoor (Rahul Vohra), producer of game show is trying to rope in as the sponsor for his television show. Ajit Talwar mistakes Bharat Bhushan to be the income-tax officer who is following him.Ajit Talwar tries to escape from him in the whole movie in a hilarious way.As per boxoffice report bollywood actor Vinay Pathak does full justice to his role he essays the character of Bharat Bhushan to perfection.

Kay Kay Menon is very natural with his acting and bollywood diva Minisha Lamba gets limited scope and goes through her role efficiently.Bheja Fry 2 does not have the innocent charm of the first part mainly because the surprise element of the first is gone. On the whole, Bheja Fry 2 is not at all a worthy sequel to Bheja Fry . Since the film, designed as a comedy, does not create too much laughter, it will fail to make its mark at the box-office.

Double Dhamaal box office report

Released today, Sanjay Dutt, Kangana Ranaut , Arshad Warsi starrer Double Dhamaal made at a budget of Rs35 crore, the movie as depicted has been shot in Mauritius, Hong Kong and Mumbai locals and is a big comedy. The movie is also ready for a worldwide premiere at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards function to be happen next week in Toronto.

The trailer of the movie also created a lot of gossips in the industry but with the ongoing success of Salman Khan starrer Ready, this film too lose out on the hype proportion to some level. From all the prospects film is expected to make an impression on the film’s opening which instead of being very good to excellent around 70 percent occupancy graph, which is approximately 25 crore in the weekends, taking thousand print release.
