The much-hyped Bollywood flick Raavan featuring Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai, and Vikram did not started with a good note as all expected with it’s mindblowing promos. While certain big city multiplexes opened to a 50 to 60 percent to 70 percent response, the response at smaller centre plexes and also single screens was much lower, in 20 to 25 to 30 percent range.

In the recent past, movies like Housefull, Badmaash Company, Kites and Raajneeti had opened to a great start and the film industry was expecting a similar start for Raavan. But Mani Ratnam‘s directed film Raavan got negative remarks from the audiences.
